Connie Floyd

Connie Floyd received the BFA degree from the Atlanta College of Art and the MFA degree from Clemson University. His area of interest at both institutions was printmaking. His prints have been included in exhibitions at each art school in the Union of Independent Colleges of Art. Connie’s work is represented in the South Carolina State Art Collection. In addition, his work has been in included in exhibitions at the Chattahoochee Valley Art Museum in Lagrange, Ga., the Morris Museum in Augusta, Ga. and the Rudolph Lee Art Gallery at Clemson University.

Additional accomplishments include completing more than 100 portrait drawings of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Hall of Fame inductees, Clemson University Centennial Flag and Coat of Arms design and a North Carolina Arts Council grant for public art projects in state buildings co-award. Connie is an associate professor and serves as chair of the Art Department at North Carolina Central University.
