Black History Celebration:

African American History Month, the event, grew out of “Negro History Week”, the brainchild of noted historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans.

Come join our annual Black History and Cultural Celebration. We are uplifting the history and culture of Individuals originating from the African diaspora. In this exhibit, artists have created expressions of artwork that celebrate history, feelings and notions from the past that celebrate our deep and rich African and African-American heritage. Our goal is to inspire you with works, impressions, and feelings of those who paved the way for others. Now, we celebrate the benefits of our hard-fought freedom.

These works celebrating the past and present will hopefully inspire future generations.
